im getting two guinea pigs.
im going to get them a hideaway.
should they each have their own hideaway or could they share one?
because i'd rather get one good sized one than two.

Its fine to get one, just make sure it is big enough.

They need shelter and if it provides shelter then it will be fine,

if they don't seem to b getting along I would buy another one so they can keep away from one another,

I hope this helps

I have two female guinea pigs who have grown up together. Roughly every other week I give them a new cardboard cutout hideaway (cheap, disposable, good for chewing). They love them but only ever seem to share the space if they're running away from being picked up (once they're actually in your lap, they're fine). So for cage-space purposes, I would recommend getting one hideaway as long as your guinea pigs get along - it will give them more room to scamper.

Hideaway as in house? We had 2 guinea pigs and we got one large sized "igloo" are what they are called. They were fine with that. Maybe get a little thing to make a wall type thing in a corner too, to get more privacy.

are not getting A HAMSTER. you will sense sorry approximately it lots interior the longrun. they only stay for like a twelve months if ur fortunate and guinea pigs are lots simpler. u can genuinely play with guinea pigs and that all of them have their own little character and stuff and that they arent as nocturnal. guinea pigs are very exciting pets! you are able to take them out of their cage and play with them and you're able to hold them and pat them and stuff cuz they love your lap! tell ur mom u choose accountability for something and you wanna very own ur very own puppy. those are issues guinea pigs choose: -cage -bedding (no longer pine or ceder based they could get respritory probs.) -pellets -timothy hay/alfalfa (comparable element ppl merely use distinctive names) -2 nutrition bowls (heavy so they wont turn over) -water bottle -igloo (they sleep and spend maximum time in it) -treats -small filled animals and different guinea pig toys you're able to desire to alter the bedding like as quickly as a week and see sparkling it each and every time it needs to be wiped sparkling. you apart from mght could desire to provide them a physically powerful grant of nutrition C so as which ability u could desire to provide them some orange or different fruit like as quickly as an afternoon. i dont think of there's a undeniable style of nutrition that's suitable i merely get whatevers maximum inexpensive. lol. good success and that i'm hoping you will get a guinea pig! p.s. dont get spinney wheel that u put in their cage the place they run around in cuz they could come back issues.

I'd get one for now and then wait and see if they'll need a second

If they get along well (which they should if you buy them together) then they can share.
