my hamster has wet poo stuck on her tail and butt. This has been for like 1 and a half weeks. She is still active: like runs on wheel and eats and drink and is ative at night. I only feed her a piece of water melon 1 month ago.

If she'd had wet tail for a week and a half she'd be dead by now. It can be fatal in as little as 48 hours. She also would be significantly less active than normal if she had wet tail, and would otherwise be acting very sick. However, you should take her to the vet ASAP as there are a number of other possible health conditions she could have.

I've found that feeding very young Syrian hamsters seed mixes would cause wet tail in about 50% of the group. I started feeding forti diet rat blocks or pellets to the young ones, and wet tail incidence went down drastically. If you want to, you can wean them onto seed mixes when they're about 6 months old. Hamsters don't die from wet-tail, they die from dehydration caused by wet-tail.
I am also surprised it's still alive and ok with having wet tail that long. You're lucky. Make sure it is in fact wet-tail. Search for photos on line. If this case isn't severe, and you can't get to a vet, run over to Petsmart and buy a product called "dri-tail." Read the instructions carefully!!! It is more effective to directly administer this product to the animal's mouth, rather than just putting it in the animal's water. Make certain your hamster is drinking enough water at all times.

I would take your hamster to the vet but I don't think it's wet tail. Wet tail is usually fatal in less time than you are describing. You might have given her some inappropriate bedding. Make sure it's shavings and get her some Chinchilla sand so she can "wash" herself.
Honestly though, take her to the vet and get her checked out ... then go from there.

That sounds like a long time to have wet tail. She could just have diahrea, wet tail is pretty deadly pretty fast. I would consider seeing an exotic vet asap, they don't charge very much and if it is wet tail can give you medicine that works -- over hte counter stuff often doesn't. They can also help with any other diahrea issues going on there...

You probably know this, but don't put your hamster in water. Give him/her some chincilla sand, you can get it at the pet store. Take your hamster to the vet. First, try checking the cage to see if there is any water spillage. If not, to the doctor you go.

i would definately take your hamster in to the vet to have her looked at, and by all means, please dont feed her any more watermelon. it will infact do the same thing to tiny little critters that it does to people...in one hole, and almost immediately out the other.
i dont see to where it would still be affecting her a month later though, but yes, definately take her to the vet, and try to stick to her food. they make specific food for animals for specifit reasons...1 being that its the perfect food for what their body needs, and can digest and handle. its not usually a good thing to feed your pet things that it normally wouldnt get to eat in the wild, or naturally.

your hamster does not have wet tail, if it did, it would've died in like 7 days... hamsters that have wet tail are not active, they don't eat or drink, they are lethargic, and they lose a ton of weight. if you give her lettuce, or any green veggies, she could be diarrheaing from those.

ur hampster has a sickness called wet tail and it is because of mal- neutrition... u could try going to ur local pet store and finding different foods... if u just changed food recently it could have caused this but dont feed it human food because this could make it sicker
