I don't know if there is information out there? I guess at best you can give your estimate or opinion. And maybe it depends on the diet, species and so forth of the Hamster. But I'm mainly asking because I have had 7 Syrian Hamsters to date. Only have three currently. Age 2.4 Years, 1 Year and about 4-6 months.

For the first time ever one of my hamsters needs it's teeth trimmed by a vet or myself. And that is my oldest Hamster. Shes can no longer able to keep her teeth trim on her own. But other than that shes healthy for her age. But I assume she may pass away any month now. The vet trimmed her teeth about 5 days ago and I think she may need her teeth trimmed again very soon. It seems fast. I was kind of taught by the vet how to do it. I will do my best but if I don't do it correctly I will get the vet to show me one more time.

But the teeth grew a lot in just 4-5 days. The vet brought them as short as he could. And it looks like they are growing an average of a mm per day or close to it.

Hamsters teeth grow around the clock, like beavers.

Each hamster normally grows its teeth different than any other. I've 4 winter whites in the last 5 years and along with 2 syrians. My winter whites normally had there teeth grow a cm a month but two of them had at least a inch every 3 months! Syrians are bigger with bigger teeth, both of my syrians had there teeth grow really randomly. As they where younger they didn't really grow too much about 5-6 cm every 5 months but as they where around 2 years they had there teeth growing quite fast about an inch every month.

So I think it all depends on the hamster.

I would try Milk bones for your syrians if you have not already.

My robos finished one in two weeks and my syrians in a week. (They where the HUGE ones)

I seem to find pet store ones made for hamsters never really work.

You might want to try this for your syrians also. Get a bunch of seeds and grains and stick them to a stick(outdoor one) I would not stick it on with peanut butter as it gets stuck in there pouch but with something as sticky as peanut butter and is editable then put that in your hamsters cage leaving them with seeds for treats and wood to chew on after.

Good luck!!!

Are the timber blocks lumber dealt with or painted? She must be repelled through them. attempt some sticks right away off a tree. possibly attempt giving her fewer comfortable chewable issues to shred, she must be occupied chewing issues that don't positioned on down her enamel.

Give her LOTS of things to chew on. Is she chewing on the bars? If she is she is doing pretty good.
