My hamster died what can i do to stop her sister getting lonely?

Question

Recently my roborovski dwarf hamster Bubble died of pneumonia. She has a sister called Squeak and they were very close. i really don't want Squeak to get lonely but she seems to be a bit sad at the moment as shes had her sister all her life. other than obviously playing with her every day, what can i do to stop her getting lonely or depressed?? i also had to throw away the wood chews mineral rock hay house and log toy, to make sure Squeak didnt catch it too, what new toys can i buy to make Squeak happy and stop her thinking about missing her best friend?

Usually if I see my hamster looks sad, I'll just put him in his ball until he stops running (which is a long time :) then just put him back in his cage. My hammy doesn't really play with toys but he does get happy when I give him a treat called Cheesie Chewz which taste like cheese. I get them at walmart and it cost a couple of bucks. Hope your hammy gets better!

give her alot of love and attention, she will do fine.

my dwarf hamster ninja died, and her sister was sad for a few days but she got better.

and you can get her another buddy, but do the split cage method. Do the split cage for 3 weeks mabey even five, and they will get used to each other.
